Explore Painting & Drawing workshops and classes in Sussex
Lucy Farrant is an artist and art teacher with an MA and BA in Textile Art, as well as a PGCE. After teaching art in secondary schools in the UK and Australia for nine years, she now works from her studio in Alfriston. Her background in textile art and teaching gives her practice a thoughtful, hands-on quality. She encourages students to be imaginative, experimental and free in their approach.
Bakehouse Arts offers creative, stimulating and fun art classes for children, adults and teenagers in a well-equipped working studio. Classes use a wide range of techniques and materials. The studio is set in an idyllic rural location in the Cuckmere Valley, on the outskirts of Alfriston, East Sussex. For current workshop details and offerings, visit the Bakehouse Arts website.
