Workshop submissions
When an organiser submits a workshop or event listing, we collect contact details and workshop information provided in the form. Legal basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Contact form enquiries
When you contact us, we collect your name, email, subject, and message solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Browser / local storage
We store: cookie consent preference; sponsor banner dismiss state; geolocation data (held only in browser memory for the current session, never sent to our servers). We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics services that collect personal data.

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We use:

• Supabase (EU-hosted) — stores newsletter subscribers, workshop listings, and contact enquiries.
• Resend — sends transactional and newsletter emails.

4. How long we keep your data

• Newsletter subscribers — kept while subscribed; you can request deletion.
• Workshop submissions — kept while the listing is active.
• Contact enquiries — deleted after 12 months.
• Browser local storage — on your device; clear via browser settings at any time.

5. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, withdraw consent, and object to processing. To exercise any right, email workshops@sussexartworkshops.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the UK ICO.
