Introduction to Embroidery

Learn the fundamentals of embroidery in this playful workshop with artist Becky Edmunds. You’ll practise a variety of stitches and experiment with them to create your own patterns and textures, while exploring different types of thread and the essential tools used in embroidery.

The session also introduces a range of embroidery techniques and draws inspiration from the work of contemporary embroidery artists. All tools, materials and thread are provided, and you’ll take home your own embroidery hoop, threads and needles so you can continue practising and creating independently. The course is limited to 10 participants.
