Portrait Club
Take turns posing for a few minutes while everyone else draws, then swap places and keep going. By the end of the evening, you’ll have been drawn yourself and created a collection of portraits of other people. Portrait Club is a sociable, light-hearted and untutored drawing session, offering a relaxed chance to practise drawing a wide range of faces while meeting new people.
The session takes place at the Open House pub on Springfield Road in Brighton, close to Preston Park train station and local bus routes. Bring your own drawing materials; some basic supplies are available as a back-up if needed. Music plays during the session, and the bar serves food and a range of drinks, including local beers and soft drinks. You can arrive late or leave early, and booking isn’t required.
