Kids School Hols Wheel Throwing

Children aged 8–12 can discover the basics of throwing clay in a special taster session during the school break. They’ll be taught by one of the cafe’s potters, learning about the process before having the chance to try it for themselves.

With guidance from the tutor, participants can have a go on a potter’s wheel and experience the hands-on craft of throwing. It’s an introduction to pottery designed especially for children, offering a chance to explore how clay is shaped on the wheel in a friendly, practical session.
